Cane Creek Valley: Renovation & Farm

IN PROGRESS! Check back soon for updates!

This project entails a 58 yr. old fixer upper that is very small, very abandoned, and has been all but left for dead.

As you can see from the photos, we definitely have our work cut out for us. But if I’m being completely honest…a project like this has been my wildest dream come true for ages. Gutting the rot from what I envision to be a charming home…then renewing its lease on life with a fresh look are my favorite kinds of projects.

The woefully redeeming quality of this breathtaking lot is the stunning pasture. Altogether, 2 lots have been recombined into a single 6 acre creek-lined gem…with generously stocked trout in the creek at the land’s end. Eventually, there will a new small mom & pop farm springing up at this stunning property.

This project contains a multitude of phases:

  • Junk & Debris Clean-Up (a massive undertaking left behind by previous tenants)

  • Drilling a brand new well

  • Examining, repairing (or possibly replacing with new) septic system

  • Kitchen: Complete gut + renovation

  • Bathroom: Complete gut + renovation

  • 494 sq. ft. addition (Master Bedroom Suite including laundry)

  • Excavation / footings / foundation prep for future basement addition

  • HVAC + Insulation Installation

  • Electrical Panel Upgrade + Moving Electrical Post / Burying Power Lines

  • All New Windows & Doors

  • Demolition and replacement of 2 outdoor decks at entrances

  • Seal off and move 2nd entrance from side to back of home

  • Construction of a 1,370 sq. ft. pre-fabricated steel building workshop

  • Modern shipping container office suites with courtyard

  • And oh, so much more…updates to come!
